Human Resources Generalist

Harrison, NJ (In-Person-Full Time)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, ensuring the development and implementation of HR trainings, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

 

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Recruitment Management: Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations, address concerns, and promote a harmonious work culture.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance on benefits.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance management processes, including evaluations and goal-setting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • HR Guidance: Provide guidance to management on HR-related matters and contribute to strategic planning.
  • HR Records: Maintain accurate HR records and ensure the confidentiality of data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
  • HR Trends and Compliance: Stay updated on HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • FMLA Administration: Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes and compliance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
