Job Description

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior  Civil Engineering Project Manager to their team in Houston!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or monitor project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  
• Deliver projects on time and within budget
  
• Work with business development to prepare proposals and statement of qualifications
  
• Lead multiple projects and provide technical guidance
  
• Communicate project updates with team and management
  
• Prepare wastewater treatment plant designs, water designs, and water calculations
  
• Review draft agreements and provide input/approve for scope and fee
  
• Identify staffing needs and assist with hiring
  
• Mentor/train junior staff and provide development opportunities
  
• Evaluate staff regularly (client satisfaction, project schedule, project budget, billings, QA/QC) and perform staff evaluations
  
• Ensure all technical aspects of the project (design, specifications, reports) meet QA/QC standards
  
• Attend client/agency meetings on behalf of firm
  
• Monitor department performance
  

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  
• 12+ years of progressive consulting civil engineering experience
  
• 5+ years of project management/design experience
  
• PE License, preferably in Texas
  
• Water/wastewater design experience including wastewater treatment plants
  
• Municipal utilities services experience
  
• Knowledge of engineering principles
  
• Advanced engineering expertise
  
• Ability to travel using own transportation
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
